I received my bachelor degree in 2015 from Peking University, China, where I also got my master degree in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, I finished my PhD degree from the University of Adelaide, supervised by Prof. Martin Hand, A. Prof. Justin Payne and Dr. Laura Morrissey. My PhD research focused on the IOCG deposits in the northern Gawler Craton and their tectonic setting. Before submitting my PhD thesis, I also worked on a short project of epidote group minerals Lu-Hf geochronology, working with A. Prof. Stijn Glorie. At the end of 2023, I came to Curtin University as a research associate.
My current research interests focus on petrochronology, utilizing the geochronology of multiple minerals (zircon, monazite, apatite, titanite, rutile, garnet, allanite–epidote, micas) to solve practical problems in economic geology and metamorphic geology. My study area includes the Gawler Craton and Albany-Fraser Orogen in Australia, Western Gneiss Complex in Norway, Central Hoggar in Algeria, and Tianshan and Qinling Orogens in China.
